Arriving by tube

The closest stops are:

  1. Waterloo (Jubilee, Northern, Waterloo and City and Bakerloo Lines), 2 mins walk
    Take the Waterloo Road exit. You will see The Wellington Pub across the road. Walk left along Waterloo Road and take the second right up Exton Street. Xenia will be on Secker Street on your left.
  2. Embankment (Circle, District, Northern and Bakerloo Lines), 7 mins walk
    Take the exit toward the river. Cross the Thames and continue South past Kings College and the IMAX. Turn left on Exton Street. Xenia will be on Secker Street on your left.

Directions by Train

The train stations Waterloo and Charing Cross are both very close (Waterloo is about 2 mins by foot and Charing Cross is about 8 mins walk). All the main line stations are easily reachable using the London Underground.

Directions by Plane

Heathrow:
  1. Take the underground (Piccadilly Line to Piccadilly Circus and then Bakerloo Line to Waterloo. Do not go to Green Park as the interchange is busy and inefficient. If you need lift access for your luggage change at Hammersmith for the District Line and then Waterloo for the Jubilee Line). Time ~75mins, cost ~£4.
  2. Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and then the underground (Bakerloo Line to Waterloo). Time ~45 mins, cost ~£20.
  3. Take a taxi. Time ~45 mins, cost ~ £50 (at least!).
Stansted:
  1. Take the National Express Coach to Liverpool Street Station (~65min, ~£10). Then get bus 26 or 100 (~20mins).
  2. Take the Stansted Express into Liverpool Street (~47mins, ~£22) . Then get bus 26 or 100 (~20mins).
Luton:
  1. Take the Thameslink train to London Bridge (~65min, ~£15). Then take the Jubilee line to Waterloo.
  2. Take the National Express Coach to Victoria (~65min, ~£15). Then take bus 211 (~25mins).
Gatwick:
  1. Take the train to Clapham Junction and the train to Waterloo or else take the First Capital Connect Service to Blackfriars and walk.
  2. Take a taxi (expensive).
London City:
  1. Take the tube: DLR to Canning Town, then Jubilee Line to Waterloo. It takes about 40 minutes.
